On Wednesday 8th February, local Portsmouth artist and trans activist Mister Samo will be giving a talk at the UPSU as part of its Speaker Series. The session will take place in the Third Space upstairs at the Students' Union.

Samo will be talking about his journey, what impact he has had on the art world, and about the space he has taken as a trans activist and artist. He will also be giving a Q&A at the end of the talk to answer any questions about art or identity.
Additionally, SAMO will be holding an art workshop after the talk titled "Exploring identity and queer creative expression", where he will look at identity and explore that creatively.
The talk is set to begin at 2 pm and the art session will begin at around 3:30pm.
