There were many great performances, with contestants ranging from LGBT+ to Squash. Ultimately Alice and her Double Ds, a trio from Gym and Tramp, were declared the winners with a Nutcracker-themed routine. Dominic, one of the Double Ds, said it was “really nice to see people turning up and putting themselves out there in the name of doing something for charity”. He said it was events like this which really make the university experience worthwhile.

Emily and Lucy, President of Reenactment and Welfare Officer of Cosplay, were awarded Best Costume for their The Witcher performance; and Cato and Zac of Pole Dance were also crowned Most Original with their paparazzi theme.

India, RAG Sec of Pole Dance and main organiser of the event, said it was really amazing to see everyone’s “many hours” of hard work pay off. Chlo Hood, Pole’s instructor who gave their own performance, added that it was great to see the university set up such a seamless and well-done event.
